AYKA er pseudonymet til den norsk-tyrkiske artisten Ayça Lingaas. Under by:Larm 2022 var hun blant de 12 nominerte for Årets Stjerneskudd - og ble omtalt som «en artist å holde øye med» av Aftenposten. Samme år opptrådte Ayka også på Vill Vill Vest i Bergen, til stor respons fra både publikum og GAFFA. Siden 2023 har hun arbeidet med debutalbumet «Doggy Bag», og varmet opp for artister som amerikanske Chris Cohen og australske Royel Otis. Den nye plata «Doggy Bag» ble sluppet 16. januar i år, og representerer å trekke seg tilbake, trekke litt luft og ta seg en tenkepause. Med egenartet og vindskeivt gitarspill omfavner Ayka et råere og mer skranglete landskap enn tidligere, og tekstene er direkte og ujålete refleksjoner av alt som er godt og vondt - helst på samme tid. Special Guest: Kent Erlend Horne Classic Album Sundays hosts album listening events in which classic albums are played in their entirety on vinyl. It was founded in 2010 by radio host and DJ Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy because she felt that albums were not getting the attention they deserved.[1] The inaugural event took place in the Hanbury Arms in Islington, London.[2] It has since spread across the world, hosting events worldwide in the US,[3] Europe, Japan and Australia. And Norway, too. Kent will talk about his experiences talking to people cooler than the rest of us.
